Shaping Children's View of STEM and Education, One Kit at a Time

STEM Kit Donations

Our carefully curated STEM kits are the core of the organization’s mission to redefine STEM education. STEM kits are considered the cornerstone of a fun, interactive learning experience for youths, educating them on various topics within STEM disciplines. STEMise’s kits are designed to be simple for individuals to follow, allowing them to easily create various models while learning important topics in challenging subjects such as engineering, physics, or even biology and chemistry. We also create these with easily accessible materials, such as popsicle sticks or paper, to inspire and empower individuals to embark on their STEM learning journey. Our kits will be donated to both the elders and the youths in underserved communities to bridge the generational gaps and foster shared learning experiences, and ensure that STEM can be available and accessible to anyone. Currently, we offer three kits that will be consistently donated and distributed (Balloon-Powered Car, Catapult, and Mini Farm Kit). For in-person workshops, we also offer science kits that allow individuals to conduct hands-on experiments, engaging directly with scientific concepts in a collaborative and interactive setting.

Interactive Workshops

To further enhance the learning experience, STEMise hosts biweekly interactive workshops to foster critical thinking and innovation among individuals. Our interactive workshops - which are based on our very own STEM Kit and technology related curriculum for STFE - are a reflection of our desire to cultivate the next generation of leaders within the STEM fields who are filled with enthusiasm and passion, but also to equip them with the necessary skills, such as curiosity or inquiry, that allow them to be successful in both the STEM industry and just for life in general. Furthermore, we hope to inspire and remind individuals that there are no limits to curiosity.

S.T.F.E (STEMise's Tech For Everybody)

S.T.F.E. (STEMise’s Tech For Everybody) is one of the organization’s core activities aimed at addressing issues of a lack of technology-related education and awareness in underserved communities.

Individuals not only fail to get proper exposure to coding but also to other fascinating topics in technology (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Robotics). One of our main topics within S.T.F.E. is the AI literacy program, which introduces individuals to fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence. With proper exposure to AI, we hope the program serves as a starting point for individuals' journey toward ethical and responsible AI use while simultaneously cultivating their passion for the topic.

S.T.F.E. further reflects the organization's value of member-driven initiative, where members or chapter founders have the opportunity to propose their very own curriculum - eventually sharing their unique knowledge and passion with others.
